Super Epic - Super Pacific Road Trip - Day Four: It sure was good while it lasted

Holy Moly!

What a whirlwind.

To get to the Hiouchi Cafe in Crescent City at 7:00 AM, we needed to leave Arcata at 5:30.

Math, however, has never been my strong suit, so we left an hour later than we should have and arrived just as they were getting swamped. But the wait was worth it; the Chorizo Omelet was off the chain.

From there, we wandered back into the redwoods for a few hours, and when our necks could crane no more, we hit the road northbound towards Oregon.

We had a 7-hour drive up the coast to Eugene, a town I've wanted to visit since back in the day when I was planning to move to San Francisco.

But, y'all! Holy shit, the coast of Oregon is something else!

I had no idea there was a coastline anywhere in America that looked like this!

So we stopped.

A lot.

And by the time we got to Eugene, it was 9:00.

When we hit the grocery store and got to the Airbnb, it was 10:00.

So by the time I closed my eyes, I was set for another very short sleep.

Hanging out in Eugene will have to wait until next time, I reckon.

We were up at 4:30 this morning, making the trip to Vancouver, WA, to deliver our old camper shell to the person that bought it and then back down to Portland for the installation of the Super Pacific camper.

I'm in their lounge now while Ben takes care of the installation. Before he got started, he gave me a tour of the facility. I'm telling you what, I FREAKIN' LOVE AMERICAN MANUFACTURING!

This makes me want to hit the drawing board right now and see what else I can develop for the F-ER brand! Speaking of, I should be releasing another product here before the end of summer, so stay tuned for that.

When we leave here, we're heading to Walla Walla, WA, to spend the night camping on a lavender farm under a full moon with a bunch of working Border Collies.

I'm already looking forward to the extra room in this camper, compared to the one I just sold.

It should be real nice.

And I'm going to sleep like a baby.
